Children's Home: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
In partnership with Artists For Charity, WTE will help to run and build a new home for children living with HIV/AIDS. The home is small in the style of a family setting, with fifteen children and five staff. All attend school and are receiving the treatments they need. To date the home has been a rented one, however land given by the Ethiopian government and monies raised with WTE will help to build a new home, which will be owned in the names of the children. Emebet Education Program
The EEP is an education sponsorship program for children who have been orphaned or are in a very vulnerable position allowing them to attend school, which is currently not an option. This program runs in three countries and each program is different due to the differing situations. Read more...
Resource Sharing Program
Working To Empower is creating new documents/resources relating to HIV/AIDS continually. These documents are now being translated into sixteen languages for the purpose of sharing these resources with organizations on a global scale. Currently the program has connected into thirty nations with over one-hundred organizations receiving one or more of the translated series of documents on a weekly basis.
